PLEASE REVIEW "ADDITIONAL INFORMATION" PRIOR TO ATTENDING. During this event, Field Training Officers (FTO's) will brief attendees on Basic FPS combat Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's). Then, FTO's and attendees will depart the station in a dropship, accept a mission to clear hostiles from a Hurston bunker, and proceed to descend to the planet. FTO's will observe attendees as they complete the mission using Vanguard SOP's, and provide correction and feedback when attendees stray from those procedures. Successful completion based on the attached criteria will result in certification of attendees in Basic Combat Training.
